Payment Processing Fees<\/h1>\n

TiPJAR exists to help tipped workers earn more, and help customers tip when they don’t have cash.<\/p>\n

We partner with a range of providers to process tip payments. Depending on which partner processes your tip, we may be charged a fee by the processor before we receive the funds. TiPJAR doesn’t get this money. It goes to the credit card companies and banks who process the payment.<\/p>\n

When we can, we provide tipping customers the option to increase their tip by this amount, so that the recipient receives exactly the intended tip. 97.8% of our customers do this.<\/p>\n

We constantly work to reduce these costs, and the more people use TiPJAR the lower rates we’ll be able to achieve.<\/p>\n
