TiPJAR® is an award-winning cashless tipping platform, developed by hospitality for hospitality. Our system allows individuals and teams to receive cashless tips directly from their customers, then distribute them fairly and transparently.

We want to take the pain of tip management away from the business and put tips straight into the hands of the workers themselves.

TiPJAR® is quick, direct and 100% transparent.

We take the pain out of tip management by bypassing the business entirely, connecting staff directly to their customers.

From a legal perspective, we act as a commercial agent collecting money on behalf of the staff. When staff sign up, they give us permission to receive tips via our TiPJAR® Collection Portal and then distribute funds on their behalf via our Distribution Engine.

The process is smooth and transparent, maximising the earning potential of employees while removing the administrative pain from the employer and allowing them to enjoy all the benefits of a motivated, well-remunerated team.

Cleared By HMRC

TiPJAR® has been cleared by HM Revenue & Customs, the UK tax collecting authority. This means that as long as an operator hands over full control of tip management to the staff via the TiPJAR® platform, they cannot be held responsible for tax or National Insurance contributions on the tips collected and can move away from operating complex and costly tronc systems in their business. More tips for staff and less pain for operators!
