THE ROLE

As our Content Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for owning all content the TiPJAR brand releases, shaping how we speak to the world and ensuring an ‘always on’ programme of comms to our various communities.  

You’ll craft compelling content for CRM, social, website and beyond, champion our brand narrative, and ensure our voice is consistent, clear, and bold across every channel. You will also be given the chance to own and lead a dynamic, varied range of content, utilising multiple forms including animation, film, long-form written and short-form video & written content. You’ll listen to community trends and feedback, and use these insights to inspire and inform our marketing strategy. 

This is a hands-on, dynamic role perfect for someone with 3–5 years of experience looking to make a visible impact in a fast-growing tech business. 

WHAT YOU’LL be doing
  • Lead on all brand content and communications, ensuring clarity, quality, and impact.  
  • Own social channels, determining content strategy, developing content plans, and delivering the output 
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, and Leadership to deliver projects that move the business forward.  
  • Own the content calendar and communication frameworks, improving them as we scale.  
  • Create and manage content across digital channels, including website, social, email, blog, PR and customer comms. 
  • Craft compelling stories, from product updates to case studies to webinars to thought leadership.  
  • Support internal communications, helping teams stay aligned and informed.  
  • Report on and analyse results, and inform strategy 
  • Engage and manage third party suppliers and nurture these relationships to maximise results 
  • Be curious, proactive, and bring fresh thinking to every problem.  
  • Support and represent the business at events, meeting prospective customers and partners, and capturing content 
  • Communicate openly and proactively with colleagues, partners, and customers, and contribute to a culture where we take on challenges head-on, and celebrate progress together. 
WHAT YOU BRING
  • 3–5 years’ experience in content creation, marketing, communications, or a related field.  
  • Competent working with stakeholders across the business, including senior leaders.  
  • Keen eye for detail and strong, creative writing skills 
  • Experience managing content schedules, campaigns, or digital channels.  
  • Excited to work in a fast-moving, scaling environment.  
  • A collaborative mindset and the initiative to run with your ideas.  
  • Alignment with our values and our mission to build TiPJAR 
  • Experience in marketing & communications within B2B, SaaS or tech is a plus

We are seeking an experienced, commercially minded Chief Marketing Officer to own and lead our end-to-end marketing strategy. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the full depth and breadth of our brand and marketing, from driving predictable, high-value demand generation, to strengthening our brand, and building a high-performing marketing function that supports sustainable ARR growth.

You will work closely with the CEO and Chief Commercial Officer, acting as a core member of the leadership team and a key driver of TiPJAR’s growth story. 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Demand Generation and Revenue Impact

  • Own TiPJAR’s demand generation strategy across inbound, outbound support, paid, organic and partner channels
  • Build predictable, measurable pipeline contribution across SMB, mid-market and enterprise segments
  • Define ICPs, personas and segmentation across hospitality operators, partners and future verticals
  • Partner closely with Sales to align on targets, funnel metrics, MQL to SQL conversion and revenue attribution
  • Optimise lifecycle marketing from first touch through onboarding, adoption and retention
  • Establish short and long-term plans to build customer LTV across multiple audiences at different stages
Brand, Positioning and Messaging
  • Own TiPJAR’s brand strategy, positioning and narrative across all channels
  • Develop compelling B2B SaaS messaging while also addressing B2C and B2U audiences such as operators, managers and frontline workers
  • Work with the team to curate a marketing plan of campaigns that directly impact business goals
  • Translate complex regulatory, financial and compliance topics into clear, engaging value propositions
  • Identify the optimal channels to reach each audience, and establish a clear, cohesive communications strategy that its built for impact across each of these
  • Refine tone & message, and become the champion of this across the business
Marketing Leadership and Team Development
  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing marketing team across demand gen, content, product marketing and brand
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs and performance expectations across the function
  • Foster a culture of accountability, experimentation and continuous improvement
  • Manage agency and external partner relationships where appropriate
  • Act as a visible, accessible member of the Leadership team, fostering a creative and open atmosphere
Go-to-Market Strategy and Enablement
  • Lead GTM for new products, features and market expansion
  • Own product marketing, including value propositions, pricing support, sales enablement and competitive positioning across the full TiPJAR ecosystem
  • Support enterprise sales cycles with targeted campaigns, ABM strategies and high-impact collateral
  • Feed structured market insight, customer feedback and competitive intelligence back into Product and Commercial teams
  • Actively seek out opportunities for business growth and input into the wider Leadership strategy
Data, Performance and Scale
  • Own marketing analytics, reporting and forecasting
  • Establish clear dashboards across CAC, LTV, pipeline contribution and ROI
  • Continuously test, learn and refine channels and messaging to improve efficiency at scale
  • Own and maintain the marketing budget
WHAT YOU BRING
  • Proven experience as a senior marketing leader within B2B SaaS, ideally at scale-up or high-growth stage
  • Deep expertise in demand generation with a strong track record of driving pipeline and revenue
  • Experience marketing to multiple audiences including B2B decision-makers and B2C or B2U end users
  • Hospitality software or adjacent sector experience is highly desirable
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to align marketing strategy directly to revenue outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to understand and simplify complex concepts
  • Creative thinker with tenacity and a bias for action
  • Comfortable operating strategically while remaining hands-on where needed
  • Established leader with influence at a senior level, and the ability to build and nurture high-performing teams
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, ambitious environment and enjoys building from first principles
  • Passion for the hospitality industry, and a desire to support and improve financial wellbeing for frontline workers

The role

You will report directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and play a critical role in shaping TiPJAR’s go-to-market strategy, sales execution, and revenue predictability.

What You’ll Be Doing Day to Day:

New Business and Revenue Delivery

  • Own personal new business quota while being accountable for overall team performance
  • Generate consistent outbound activity every week across:
  • Cold and warm prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Attending networking and industry events
  • Creating and engaging with social media content
  • Identify, qualify, and close opportunities within our ICP, including group operators, multi-site brands, and strategic partners
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles and regulatory landscapes including tronc legislation, NI mitigation, and HMRC guidance
  • Lead high-value enterprise negotiations including pricing, commercials, and contract structuring
  • Build strong senior stakeholder relationships and clearly articulate the commercial and operational value of

Sales Leadership and Team Development

  • Build, hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing sales team as the business scales
  • Act as day-to-day leader for the sales function, coaching on pipeline management, deal strategy, and execution
  • Set clear expectations for activity levels, conversion metrics, and performance standards
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, forecasting sessions, and deep dives into deals
  • Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and commercial excellence

Sales Process, Strategy, and Operations

  • Continuously refine TiPJAR’s sales methodology, qualification framework, and enterprise sales playbooks
  • Own pipeline forecasting, CRM accuracy, and reporting to ensure predictability and confidence
  • Establish and monitor sales KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics
  • Contribute to territory design, account segmentation, and target account planning aligned to ARR goals
  • Partner closely with Marketing to shape lead generation strategy, messaging, and campaign effectiveness
  • Work cross-functionally with Product and Customer Success to deliver tailored solutions and ensure strong handovers
  • Feed structured market insight, customer feedback, and win-loss analysis back into the wider business
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • 5+ years in B2B saas sales, ideally in hospitality tech
  • Experience in enterprise sales or complex multi-site deals with longer sales cycles
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks – experience navigating financial compliance or employment/tax legislation is a strong plus
  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Hunter mentality – resilient, disciplined and able to self-generate leads
  • Comfortable owning outbound KPIs (calls, emails, demos, follow-ups) week-in, week-out
  • Curious, consultative and able to understand customer pain points and tailor solutions accordingly
